One of the many things that the US differs from Brazill is the celebration date of Father’s Day. Down there people celebrate their Dads on the second sunday of August.
Even though is a bit soon for my countrymen, it is never too late to say Happy Father’s Day to all the american dads around!

And the wedding cake is finally done!
The week was devoted to this project and I can say that it turned out really good. I’m proud.
Again, is more a question on patience, technique and a bit of hand strength (uuuf).
Today we celebrate Mother’s Day and of course I could not miss the opportunity to honor mine.
This is a small tribute to my mother and all the mothers out there whose hearts bear so much love that it overflows in the way of hugs, kisses and worries

Stripes are super popular these days. They give the cake some beautiful shape and flow.
This goody was an Orange Cake with apricot buttercream.
He will also always be known as the Bacon Cake for me. 😉
