This cake was a special request for a 6 moth ” birthday” for the sweetest baby boy. Half a birthday?! Why not half cake?
Despite the fact that is was presented in half, it was half of a 10 x 8in cake so everyone had a piece of the juice pistachio cream cheese filling in the small get together.

Honey Cupcakes
This week was time to try a new favorite: honey cupcakes!
The buttermilk batter is fluffy and moist. It doesn’t taste as “honey-ish” as I would like, but the honey buttercream makes up for it. The best part: it is not too sweet.
